The Turf Company marked its 25th year by hosting the 2nd The Turf Company Invitational Golf Tournament at the Aoki and Norman Golf Courses of Eagle Ridge in General Trias Cavite, the only 72-hole golf course designed by famous professional golfers Greg Norman, Nick Faldo and Isao Aoki and renowned golf architect Andy Dye.
“It was a means of celebrating a major milestone in our history. What better way to do it than inviting our partners and customers who continue to support us,” said Mario Lopez, GM of The Turf Company.
Since 1989, Turf has been one of the country’s leading distributors of irrigation systems, precision mowing equipment, golf carts and other utility vehicles. It is the total solutions provider that keeps golf courses verdant and irrigation systems working efficiently at all times through excellent after-sales customer service that is one of the strengths of the company.
At the helm of the event was Lopez who was ably assisted by his team of engineers, sales personnel as well as administrative staff. Andrew Price, Toro Company’s sales manager for Southeast Asia, graced the occasion. Toro, the industry leader in turf and landscape maintenance based in the USA, recently marked its centennial year. It is one of the strongest brands and a valuable partner of The Turf Company for the last 25 years.
A simultaneous tee off of over 100 participants kickstarted the event, followed by lunch, the awarding ceremonies and a celebratory cocktail party.
Sponsors were Steltz International Inc., Mall of Kitchens, The Bistro Group, The Finix Corporation and HKR Equipment Corporation. Many golf courses also participated in sponsoring free green fees.
Swinging forward, the Turf Company stands true to its commitment of putting customer satisfaction on top of their priorities—bringing their exceptional products and services to the fore and making them ahead of the game.
